Update Malics TWA!

I wanted to give everyone an update on Malic's pretty curls so here it is!

We finally have a TWA!!!! It will be time to start the locs before long and I'm getting super excited!

Today on his hair we used Beautiful curls Curl Activating Cream!! It really does wonders on his hair I love the way it makes his curls all shiny and soft!

New Boys Style!

Hello again finally another style for boys!!! are you as excited as I am?!?!?! of course we started this style on clean detangled hair and let me tell you this boy has had straight back cornrows for the better part of 2 weeks so he was so happy to finally get something different!

Honestly I kinda freestyled this off a style I saw on the internet that I loved though I can't say exactly where I saw it I'm sorry!

I started this by doing the center part at an angle and curving it as I went to the nape of his neck!
I did braid this a little differently since I started by braiding from the middle of his head to his ears.

.Each individual braid starts with two smaller seperate braids except the ones on each side are three smaller braids.

on his hair I used the Curls of the World products Shampoo, Conditioner and Braid cream plus some eco styler gel for hold.

Yup thats right check out that hang time!!! We are exactly back to where we were in length before the "trim"

Boys Braids!

Hey I know I've been MIA Holidays are always super busy in our house, since we have so much family to visit this time of year, I did do Malikhi's hair after thanksgiving we did not do styles for this holiday just did not have the time to do anything intricate. So here is what I did with Malikhi before he went back to school

He has 3 bigger braids this style is hard to walk through so I hope the pictures help, we washed and conditioned his hair using Beautiful curls shampoo and conditioner.

sealed in the moisture from the water with coconut oil detangled and parted then started braiding.

We did this style over the course of 4 hours taking several breaks during this. He loves it and so do I.

Minibraids- Well the Minibraids only lasted 2 weeks before they were looking pretty rough He will not sleep with anything on his head so that is probably why.

Mini Braids on Boys!

Who said mini braids are just for girls?!?! I disagree Last sunday I did mini braids on Malikhi and he absolutley loves them.

After sittin for 5 hrs and braiding his hair although I didn't like them at first which is why they are all braided into 4 cornrows I was not about to take these out so we left them in and I actually am starting to like them I can wash his hair exactly the same and it makes it very easy to moisturize his ends and his scalp!

I started on freshly washed and detangled hair for this particular style I used Beautiful Curls which works wonderfully on his hair. I parted his hair into 4 sections and started at the nape of his neck and just did small parts and braids until I was finished we took a few breaks but since I started them on sunday and he had school the next day his poor little bottom was hurting lol!

Another style for boys!!!!

I've done it again braided Malikhi up, this style is a little harder than the others I have done and it took quite a bit longer. I started this style on clean detangled hair like always, I wasn't really sure what I was gonna do so I just freestyled it and I really like the way it turned out! Since I can't really explain this style and how I did it I took a few pics from every angle so you can get the idea of how it was done.

He is in serious need of a line up as you can see hear but since daddy has been working 7 days a week 12-14  hrs a day he hasn't had time to do it hopefully it will get done soon as I have gave up on cutting hair lol!

The top it is also very fuzzy as you can tell excuse that please we are out of eco styler gel and haven't made the 45 minute trip to get any.

The back yes I know see taht really big braid right there yea my hands started to hurt and he started to get restless so we settled for that.
