Soda Stream Review

Recently we received a Soda Stream to review.
As you can see they sent everything we needed to test out this wonderful product as well as many different soda and water flavors to try.

I will say that I love having this in my home though we don't allow our kids to drink much soda this certainly makes it easier when we do let them have some. Not only does it save you money over time on soda its super simple to use.

As you can see the Soda Stream has absolutely no power supply just this CO2 cartridge so you don't have to use any electricity to make your soda.

Fill the reusable bottle with water to the line and screw it in to your soda stream, push the button on top until you hear a buzz I do it for the buzz 3 times to make sure its carbonated well.

Choose your flavor of soda we used Root Beer as that is the kids favorite. Tilt the bottle when you are pouring in the syrup so it doesn't overflow.

Gently and I mean gently shake the bottle and there it is fresh soda made in the comfort of your own home.

I would definitely recommend the purchase of one of these to any of my family or friends.
For more information on where you can purchase a Soda Stream visit their website.

Loopeez Product Review!

Every Parent has been there (I know I have) The kids get to an age where they must learn to tie their shoes, it's usually around 4 or 5. This was a struggle for us as me and my husband both tie differently so we were confusing our son.

When the opportunity to review Loopeez came up I jumped at the chance, although Malikhi had finally learned to tie his shoes Malic was still struggling with it so this was the perfect timing as he is starting Kindergarten next year, and as many of you know its a requirement for them to be able to tie their own shoes.

You start the tying process by crossing the laces and pulling tightly

You then add the Loopeez and make bunny ears this is how far I set him up.

It took some trying but as you see here my boy got his shoe tied all by himself! It was slightly loose but he did it!

In this picture he was saying look Malikhi I tied my own shoe and please excuse dads arm in the picture.

Be sure to check out Loopeez website for more information you can also check out Loopeez blog or Loopeez Facebook page. If it is a struggle for your child to learn how to tie this is a great product!! Be sure when you like their page you tell them we sent you! Also please stop by and vote for Loopeez to be sold in Walmart at Get on the Shelf imagine being able to go into your local Walmart and pick up a pair of these for your child or as a gift!

*disclaimer- I was sent the loopeez for the purpose of this review, all opinions stated are my own, I was not compensated in any way for this review.

Refashioned shirt to dress and switched up hair

See that shirt yup that one right there ^^^. That shirt was sitting in my closet for over a year way to small for me so I decided hmmm wouldn't this make a wonderful dress for the princess yup that is exactly what I did made her a cute little black dress!
How adorable is that? She loves it and so do I! Please excuse her ashy knees They didn't look like that until the flash hit them lol!
And the back!

Now on to her hair remember Our Updo? Well I simply removed the braids after banding sections together.
And Walah we have a super cute mohawk
its a little frizzy but oh well we will be going back to mini braids this week!
And how could I leave you without our cute pose!!
She is such a silly Girl!

First Updo!

This style is inspired by Mainly Braids She has done a few updo's on her daughter which I loved.
So I decided that hopefully Chaela's hair was long enough to try a few and it was so here is our updo.
I started by parting her hair directly down the middle, I braided each side as if I was braiding into a mohawk.
I wish she would have sat still its quite difficult to braid the back of a 2 year olds hair into the center if they don't want to cooperate. I braided each braid all the way down.

I couldn't figure out exactly how I wanted to pin her hair up so I started by taking the braids from the bottom and flat twisting them all together.

I then took instruction from Mainly Braids Youtube Video. and created 2 bumps and pinned them with small bobby pins. After I took these pictures she asked to see them and she was delighted she said Mommy its beautiful! So if she likes it I love it

Easter Styles (super late)

Hey! It's been awhile since I've done a boy's style and for this I apologize.

On this post I will be showing our Easter styles on Malikhi and Chaela, I know it's really late but hey life happens!

Malikhi's braids are freestyled as usual I wasn't sure what I was going to do but to achieve this I parted his hair from ear to ear and braided halfway back.
the back is just small box braids this has quickly became my favorite way to do his hair it seems much quicker and he likes it.

This style actually lasted 2 weeks which was a great relief!

For Chaela's I got inspiration from a friend who posted a picture in a facebook group I would like to say thanks but honestly I can't recall who it was!

Curly Cutie In the Limelight with Naomi

Naomi is a up-coming model. Naomi is very intellectual girl she currently speaks two languages! She speaks Russian and English. Naomi loves to draw and read! She can spell 1st grade level words and she's only 3. Her favorite colors are pink and white! She loves to take pictures and has been modeling since before she was 1 years old. (and what a beauty she is!)

Naomi's Hair care routine/Regimen:

-I wash her hair 2 or 3 times every week.
-Her hair is really soft, so we can’t pull it to tight which limits the kind of styles we can do, also she has very full hair.
We cover those flaws by leaving her hair in afros over braiding it or putting it in ponytails.
- After washing her hair we style it with  Mixed Chicks ( I haven't tried Mixed Chicks yet Chaela's hair is super soft too!)

What's your go to quick style?
Before you go to bed, braid your hair if your not going to wash it in the morning, then take the braids out and it turns out curly. (love braid outs)
Whats your all time favorite products?
We love using Mixed Chicks

Can you share your or your child's favorite style?
Naomi loves wearing her hair out. ( so does my baby)

What was your greatest obstacle when learning to care for and style your cuties hair?
she loves While styling Naomi hair we try to distract her by putting on the tv or making her draw-  watching Disney Channel especially Shake it up
Naomi is such a pretty little girl, her hair is so pretty too! I would like to thank you for this feature hopefully we will be seeing alot more of Miss Naomi On Boy's & Girl's Natural Curls!

April Hair Carnival, Copy Cat Style

This months Hair Carnival is super exciting! We are once again doing Copy Cat styles except this time we did them with a twist. The person we do the copy cat style from has no idea who got them until now. So for this great challenge I received Toni from Keyative Styles, She is super talented and it was hard to decide what style we were going to choose, so I let Chaela choose what she wanted and this is what happened.
You can find the original style over at Keyative Styles blog. She also has the instructions on how to create this, now although I stayed true to the original Chaela is only 2 years old and does quite a bit of moving around so we opted to put her hair in ponytails as pictured on the bottom. We also decided to go with colored bands instead of just black! Toni I hope I did your version justice!!!!

Twirlyz Product Review

Everyone loves hair accessories, and when I ran across these I was so excited sometimes we don't have time to do a hairstyle and these are perfect for when we only have time to put the princess hair into pigtails, or a ponytail.

This yellow one is gorgeous and is covered in glitter, and what girl doesn't love glitter? The twirlyz were so easy to apply to the hair, it only took seconds and we were ready to go. Twirlyz have these cute little charms on the bottom of them. That make them so much more fun.

Look how cute they are! Not only did we get this beautiful yellow one we also got the cutest pink, blue, and white one.

My daughter loves these and wanted to wear them all week, I can't blame her they are absolutely adorable.

I would definitely recommend these to everyone that needs something quick to accessorize hair with.

Twirlyz are sold in two different sizes-
The small ones which are 5 inches
The long ones which are 9 inches

The ones pictured above are small ones you can also purchase a variety of charms and colors to coordinate any outfit check out the Twirlyz Webpage and don't forget to like their Facebook page  as well.
