Twirlyz Product Review
Everyone loves hair accessories, and when I ran across these I was so excited sometimes we don't have time to do a hairstyle and these are perfect for when we only have time to put the princess hair into pigtails, or a ponytail.
This yellow one is gorgeous and is covered in glitter, and what girl doesn't love glitter? The twirlyz were so easy to apply to the hair, it only took seconds and we were ready to go. Twirlyz have these cute little charms on the bottom of them. That make them so much more fun.
Look how cute they are! Not only did we get this beautiful yellow one we also got the cutest pink, blue, and white one.
My daughter loves these and wanted to wear them all week, I can't blame her they are absolutely adorable.
I would definitely recommend these to everyone that needs something quick to accessorize hair with.
Twirlyz are sold in two different sizes-
The small ones which are 5 inches
The long ones which are 9 inches
The ones pictured above are small ones you can also purchase a variety of charms and colors to coordinate any outfit check out the Twirlyz Webpage and don't forget to like their Facebook page as well.

Blended Beauty Review!
We are reviewing Blended Beauty for this review we recieved their Curly Cake Shake, as well as their Down & Out Styles butter. I used these on Chaela so she could wear her hair out and as many of you know we don't do that often especially since it is getting cold but we didn't have anywhere to go so I decided lets keep it down instead of doing a quick style. I started off by washing and deep conditioning her hair to wash I used Beautiful Curls Shea Butter Shampoo and for deep conditioning I used Jane Carter Solutions Conditioner.
After Washing and deep conditioning I used the Blended Beauty Curly Cake Shake as a moisturizer and detangler, I was actually able to detangle most of her hair with my fingers using this product instead of having to use our wide tooth comb. After I was done detangling I parted her hair directly down the middle, and then parted into small sections to apply the Down & Out styles.
This is what her hair looked like directly after applying it, I am going to be honest I like how her curls looked and that they weren't crunchy I did have to use a bit more product than I would have liked but it seemed to work better with lots of product, I tried this once before with just a little and they did not stay moisturized and got super frizzy.
This is the princess 4 hours after applying her curls still looked nice and were not crunchy at all which I absolutely loved, every thing I try makes her curls crunchy :\
This is her hair about 7-8 hours after and she had already took a nap with her hair wrapped up of course! OO don't mind the bow change her Grandma made her this bow to wear for christmas and she just had to put it on.
you can visit Blended Beauty's website or their facebook page to learn more about their products and to purchase your own.

Over the course of the week I have used the shampoo and conditioner on the 3 oldest kids and I must say I thoroughly like everything about them I did not have to use much of either even on Malikhi's hair which is usually super thick and sucks conditioner right up in a few minutes . I only have pictures of Malic's hair after using the products Since his hair is the shortest I used the curl activating cream on him here
This picture was taken shortly after washing and applying the leave-in and curl activator as was the one below
Notice how shiny his hair looks not only that but he does not usually let me comb his hair he jerks away quite often as soon as the comb touches his head not this time though he sat there and let me do what needed to be done.
The next morning I applied the Curl nourishing oil
Would you look at all that pretty curlage (is that even a word lol) I was very pleased with the way this made his hair look and feel did I mention all these products smell wonderful!!!!! My whole bathroom smelt like Vanilla for the rest of the day!
You can Purchase these products by visiting http://www.beautifulcurls.com/
I also did this flat twist ponytail on MaChaela after using the products on her hair, it also made her hair super soft.
I would like to Thank Beautiful Curls for this opportunity as well!

Curls of The World Yup another one!!!!
We are doing a review on Curls of the World Georgia Peach Moisturizing Shampoo and Manzanilla Coconut Moisturizing Conditioner!
Shampoo
Ingredients: Saponified oils of Avocado, Borage, Castor, Coconut, Evening Primrose, Palm, Sesame, Safflower, Sweet almond oil, Aloe Vera Oil, Saponified butters of Cocoa and Shea, Vegetable Glycerin, Lavendar Essential oil, Carrageenan, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Sorbate, Silver Citrate, natural Fresh Peach Fragrance.
Conditioner
Ingredients: Aloe Vera Whole Leaf Juice (organic), Avocado Oil, Citric Acid, DL Panthenol, Emulsifying Wax, Glycerin, Hydrolyzed Oat Protein, Palm Stearic Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Safflower Oil, Rosemary Oil, Coconut oil, Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter, Silk Protein, Silver Citrate, Vitamin E, Water, Wheat Germ Oil and Natural Coconut Fragrance Oil.
Pros- Great ingredients, I love the peach smell, lathers nicely, and a little goes a long way!!! conditioner is very creamy, made detangling a breeze his hair was so soft afterwards.
Cons- so far so good I haven't found anything about this shampoo and conditioner that I don't like
Malikhi's hair has never felt this soft after a Wash and condition I did not get a picture directly after but I did get one the next morning after I took his braids out and before I put it in a ponytail for school here is the pic
His hair has grown quite a bit since the "trim" that was a disaster its getting back where it needs to be.

Curls Of The World (Another Review) & Chaela's Length Check
We are doing a review of another Curls of the World product this one is Tahitian Bay Leave-In Detangling Conditioner. Now this is a product that was originally sent for me to use but after trying it and finding out that it was too heavy for my hair I decided it would be great for the kids! I tried it out on both of them for the Breast Cancer Awareness Styles.
Ingredients:Distilled Water, Aloe Vera juice, rosemary essential oil, peppermint essential oil, rose essential oil, natural fragrance, potassium sorbate (a natural preservative)
Pros- Great smell, Made it very simple to detangle the children's hair, and it doesn't take much to do its job.
Cons- there was only one and that is the spray bottle its more of a stream instead of a spritz!
As you can see its packed with essential oils and great ingredients! Also all Curls of the World products are Cruelty free!
To detangle Chaela's hair I parted into 4 sections and sprayed a little bit of the Tahitian Bay Detangling leave in always detangle with your fingers first to make sure you get the problem spots without causing breakage. I used a wide tooth comb and loosely braided each section to keep it from tangling back up.
This is what her hair looked like after I was finished detangling it see how shiny and healthy it looks since I have started using all natural products! (this was pointed out by some of my blogging friends).
Now on to the length Check
I have seen many many of the other hair blogs do length checks so I decided it would probably be a good idea to start doing it as well.
This is Chaela's hair on 10-1-11 almost to the middle of her back =) for a slight comparison here is a picture of her hair on 7-23-11
If you can't tell it was slightly past her shoulders and this was with a braid out so the growth is great!!!!
*These products were sent to me for the purpose of this review I was not compenstated to influence my opinions all opinions stated are my own.

Sidewinders Review
That's right it's another product review! This time we are reviewing these great little hair accessories, they are a terrific alternative to beads! If you would like to purchase these visit the Sidewinders Hair Holders website. These colorful hair accessories are very reasonably priced! As you can see above the colors we got were Sapphire Blue, Yellow, Raspberry, and Baby Blue! They were shipped super fast and it only took about 2 days to get them! Now on to the style I used these for.
Isn't she lovely?!?!? She was so happy to be done and she loves the sidewinders on her braids!
You can see we did the great flat twist again (I do believe I'm addicted). I wanted to try something different so I flat twister her hair freestyle into two piggy tails! You can see I only flat twisted the front of her hair because she was getting restless!
I know both sides are not identical at all but I tried. The braids are all different sizes as well but since it will only last a few day's I'm not too concerned.
The top view as you can see there is one flat twist that is extremely large :( I'm not excited about this style at all!
We did have to use beads to hold on the sidewinders but only so I could feel safe on them not falling out!
OK so here it is we used the Sapphire Blue and the Raspberry since that's what the princess picked. They were super easy to put on the hair and there are plenty of video's that show you how to put them on it took about half the time it takes to put beads on!
In conclusion: I am in LOVE!!! With the sidewinders and they look fabulous on braids! Also they will be wonderful to have for quick styles!!!!

Darcy's Botanicals review/Yes, another Mohawk!
I recieved these products at the begining of the week and was so excited to do this review! The first product is Darcy's Botanicals Pumpkin seed Curl Moisturizing Conditioner, this conditioner is amazing!
Ingredients:Distilled (Aqua) water, behentrimonium Methosulfate, cetaryl alcohol, cucurbita pep (pumpkin) seed oil, cocos nucifera (organic virgin coconut oil), camellia (oleifera) seed oil, cetyl alcohol, extracts of avena sativa (oatstraw), urtica dioica (nettle leaf), symphyum officinale & juniperus communis (juniper berry) extracts, panthenol, hydrolyzed oat protein, phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol and fragrance
Directions: Apply a generous amount throughout clean, wet hair. Let it set for 15-20 minutes. Then rinse and style accordingly
Claim: Moisturizes, softens and conditions curls, coils and waves.
I absolutely loved this conditioner by far the best I have ever tried, I didn't let it set for quite 15 minutes it was closer to 10 cause the princess started messing around in the tub! side note- it smells just like pumpkin pie (yummmmm)
The other product I recieved was Darcy's Botanicals as well this is the Madagascar Vanilla Styling cream.
Ingredients: Elaeis Guineensis (organic palm) oil, Oranic Aloe Vera Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Organic Madagascar Vanilla Extract, Emulsifying Wax NF, Ricinus communis (castor) oil, Oryza Sativa (rice bran) oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (jojoba) oil, Euphorbia Cerifera (candelilla) wax and Potassium sorbate.
Directions: Apply a small amount throughout dry or damp hair as needed to help seal in moisture. A little goes a long way.
Let me tell you they are not lying a little really does go a long way as you see shortly! It is a great product as well I usually don't get vanilla scented anything because 9 times out of 10 the scent is really strong and I just can't handle it. I love the faint vanilla scent this cream has and the hold it gave also helped define her curls a little bit.
Ok I started on freshly washed and detangled hair I washed with Olive oil shampoo and then used Darcy's Pumpkin seed conditioner. the pictures above are the steps to detangling and starting the style the very last picture is exactly how much of the Madagascar Vanilla Styling Creme I used on her whole head!
The happy Princess after her hair was done! Excuse the Chocolate on her face! Now on to the style I decided to do something quick since we had to run to the store and get something for daddy, so I decided a Mohawk was the way to go you know how I love these styles!
I parted her hair from side to side into 4 seperate sections the top had to be bobby pinned back to make it look right and keep the hair out of her face!
The left side view see how pretty her curls came out using the Darcy's Botanical products!
Right side view OMG I absolutely love this!
The back of the "mohawk" I actually ended up pinning the very bottom pony up into the rest as well but she would not let me get a pic!
In conclusion the princess hair loves the Darcy's Botanical's product and so does mommy will be purchasing from them in the future! You can find these products on their site darcysbotanicals.com she also has a facebook page

Regis Design Line Olive Oil Shampoo & Conditioner Product Review
In my search to find a good shampoo and conditioner I found these at the salon they have at our local WalMart over the years I have used many different products and haven't found one I can say I love to wash my childrens hair keep in mind I have 4 kids so its pretty costly to buy a shampoo and conditioner that works on all their hair since they all have different textures.
Up until buying this I have had to buy different ones for each one of them, but after finding this and using it I believe this is the way to go it works great on all their hair. Let's get into the review
Shampoo: Smells good and works wonderfully
Price:$16.89
Ingredients: water (Aqua/Eau), Olea Europaena (olive leaf extract), Soduim laureth sulfate, Disoduim Cocamide MEA, Cocamidopropyl Cetaine, Pollysorbate 80, Polyquaternium-4, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, PEG 12 Dimethicone, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben
Ok so I don't know what alot of these ingredients are to be honest and I know that this isn't a natural product but I like the results I get
Conditioner: Smells good, great moisture, Leaves hair feeling very soft
Price: $17.59
Ingredients: exactly the same as the shampoo except a few extras which are Olive Oil PEG-7 Esters and Cetrimonuim Chloride
If you are looking for all natural products I wouldn't suggest these, but if you are looking for something with good moisture and something you don't have to use a lot of I would say this is they way to go. The price is a little steep but I got these on sale I spent $24 for the set
*disclaimer: I purchased these products myself and was not in any way compensated for my review all opinions are my own
